Is Bitrue available in India?
Bitrue does not serve residents of India. India is named on Bitrue's own list of restricted countries, so Indian users cannot open or operate accounts. India has no single crypto regulator, but offshore virtual asset platforms serving Indian users must register with the Financial Intelligence Unit India (FIU-IND), and Bitrue is not registered.

How we checked this. We set this status by reading the platform's own terms of use and country eligibility, and the public register kept by the named regulator, then dated the result. Availability can change, so confirm directly with the platform and the regulator before acting. As of 26 June 2026.
As of 26 June 2026, Bitrue is not available to residents of India. India appears on Bitrue's own published list of restricted countries, so the platform does not open accounts for Indian residents. India has no single crypto regulator, but the Financial Intelligence Unit India (FIU-IND) requires virtual asset service providers that serve Indian users to register under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, and Bitrue is not on that register.
Availability for Indian residents
As of 26 June 2026, Bitrue does not serve residents of India. India appears on Bitrue's own published list of restricted countries, alongside the United States, Canada, Singapore, and the Netherlands, so the platform does not open accounts for Indian residents.
India has no single crypto regulator, but the Financial Intelligence Unit India (FIU-IND) requires virtual asset service providers that serve Indian users to register as reporting entities under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The FIU has acted against offshore exchanges that served Indian users without registering. Bitrue is not on the FIU register as of 26 June 2026, which is consistent with it restricting Indian access.
What this means for Indian users
Because Bitrue restricts India, Indian residents cannot legally onboard to the platform or expect local recourse from it. The practical step is to choose a platform that is registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit India and serves Indian users.
Attempting to bypass the restriction with a virtual private network or other tools can breach the platform's terms of use and leaves you without local protection. This page does not recommend that approach.
How crypto is taxed in India
India taxes income from the transfer of virtual digital assets at a flat 30 percent under section 115BBH of the Income Tax Act, and a 1 percent tax is deducted at source on transfers under section 194S. Losses on virtual digital assets cannot be set off against other income (as of 26 June 2026).
Rules change and depend on personal circumstances, so confirm the current treatment with a qualified Indian tax adviser. See the India crypto tax page for a fuller explanation. This is general information, not tax advice.
